Maximo learns that Necros has taken Sophia to the Netherworld, a realm of darkness. Maximo follows Necros to the Netherworld, where he must battle his way through hordes of undead creatures and powerful demons. Along the way, Maximo meets a variety of allies, including a wise old wizard and a beautiful sorceress.
