The Sudan Independent School District (SISD) is a public school district located in Lamb County, Texas, United States. The district serves the city of Sudan and the surrounding rural areas. SISD has one elementary school, one junior high school, and one high school.

History

SISD was established in 1925. The district's first schoolhouse was a one-room building that was used for both elementary and high school students. In 1955, the district built a new elementary school and a new high school. The junior high school was added in 1965.
