A crucial aspect of Dashtoon is the 'Dashtoon' itself – a special card that triggers end-game scoring. When the Dashtoon is revealed from the deck, players have a limited number of turns to optimize their tableau before the game concludes.

The strategic depth of Dashtoon lies in understanding the synergies between different Toon cards and anticipating your opponents' moves. Players must carefully consider which Toons to draft, balancing their immediate point value with their potential for future combos and ability activations. Furthermore, resource management is important. Players have limited actions each turn, forcing them to make tough choices about whether to draft new cards, activate Toon abilities, or save actions for a crucial late-game play. The timing of the Dashtoon's appearance adds an element of tension and forces players to adapt their strategies on the fly, shifting from building their tableau to maximizing their score within the remaining turns.
