Divvy

Divvy is a fast-paced, card-drafting game for 2-4 players aged 8 and up. The goal of the game is to collect sets of cards that score points. The game is played over a series of rounds, and each round consists of three phases:

1. Drafting: Players take turns drafting cards from a central pool.

2. Scoring: Players score points for the sets of cards they have collected.

3. Cleanup: Players discard cards and prepare for the next round.

The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds, and the player with the most points wins.

Gameplay

Divvy is a simple game to learn, but it offers a lot of strategic depth. Players must carefully consider which cards to draft and which sets to score in order to maximize their points. The game is also very replayable, as the cards are shuffled differently each time you play.

Components

The Divvy game includes the following components:

* 110 cards

* 1 scorepad

* 1 pencil

Setup

To set up the game, shuffle the cards and deal 7 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards in a central pool.

Gameplay

The game is played over a series of rounds. Each round consists of three phases:

1. Drafting

On your turn, you may take one of the following actions:

* Draft a card from the pool: Take the top card from the pool and add it to your hand.

* Discard a card: Discard a card from your hand and draw a new card from the pool.

You may continue to draft or discard cards until you have 7 cards in your hand.

2. Scoring

Once all players have 7 cards in their hands, the scoring phase begins. Players score points for the sets of cards they have collected. A set consists of three or more cards of the same suit or number. The number of points you score for a set depends on the size of the set and the cards in the set.

3. Cleanup

After the scoring phase, players discard all of the cards in their hands. The player to the left of the starting player becomes the new starting player, and a new round begins.

End of the Game

The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds. The player with the most points wins.

Tips

Here are a few tips for playing Divvy:

* Draft cards that you can use to complete sets.

* Don't be afraid to discard cards that you don't need.

* Pay attention to the cards that other players are drafting.

* Try to score sets that are worth a lot of points.

Divvy is a fun and challenging game that is perfect for families and friends. It is a great way to improve your strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
