Sapphire is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It is the third installment in the third generation of Pokémon games, following Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and was released in Japan in November 2002, and in North America and Europe in March 2003. As the player progresses through the game, they learn more about the Hoenn region and its history. They also encounter Team Aqua, a criminal organization that is plotting to steal a powerful Pokémon known as Kyogre. The player must stop Team Aqua and save the Hoenn region from their evil plans.

Sapphire was a critical and commercial success, selling over 16 million copies worldwide. The game was praised for its graphics, gameplay, and story. Sapphire is considered one of the best Pokémon games ever made, and is still enjoyed by many players today.
