　It is reported that the storage space of this new PS5 Slim E Chassis digital version will be reduced to 825GB (the previous generation D Chassis was 1TB). This model belongs to the CFI-2100 series, and the specific model is CFI-2116. This adjustment only affects the digital version, while the standard version of the PS5 Slim equipped with optical drive (also based on E Chassis) will still maintain 1TB of SSD storage.

At present, this change only applies to the European market. The new packaging will indicate the 825GB storage capacity and be displayed with the 4K/HDR logo. Specifications for other regional versions have not been announced yet. The CFI-2100 version of PS5 Slim digital version will be officially launched in Europe on September 13, 2025, and the price remains unchanged by 499 euros. The standard version of the same version is expected to be launched in the future.
