NS2 version of "Marvel Contest" development is blocked: the developer has not yet obtained the development kit

It has been one month since Nintendo's new generation of game console Switch 2 was launched, and top third-party works such as "Cyberpunk 2077" and "Eldon Fargo" will be launched on this platform. However, the Marvel Contest development team recently revealed to Video Gamer that the development process of the ported version of this game has been hindered because NetEase has not yet obtained the Switch 2 development toolkit provided by Nintendo.

The project leader clearly stated in the interview: "We are actively applying for the Switch 2 development kit, which is a necessary prerequisite for starting the porting work. After formally obtaining authorization, we will conduct an in-depth evaluation of the host performance and announce the specific adaptation plan."

It is worth noting that "Marvel Contest" has previously conducted technical tests on the first generation of Switch. In an exclusive interview with IGN in February this year, the team emphasized that due to the insufficient hardware performance of the old models, the game has no plans to log in to Nintendo's previous console.
