"Control"'s cumulative global sales exceeded 5 million! The sequel is already in production

  Recently, Remedy released its second quarter financial report for 2025. The financial report shows that the global cumulative sales of "Control" have exceeded 5 million copies.

  "Control" is a supernatural action game, with sales exceeding 4.5 million copies in November 2024. The main scene of the game takes place in the Control Bureau under the US Federal Government, a huge building that can constantly change its shape. The simple story background of the game is that this control bureau has been corrupted by supernatural forces, and the heroine Jesse Farden, played by the player, needs to investigate this strange event.

  Previously, Remedy confirmed that "Control 2" has entered the full production stage. In addition, the cooperative games "FBC: Firebreak" and "Max Payne 1&2 Remake" based on the "Control" universe are also under full development. According to a third-party analyst forecast report, "Max Payne 1&2 Remake" is expected to be released in the first half of 2026, while "Control 2" is expected to be launched in the first half of 2027.
