Right again? The Black Paladin is about to star in the originator of the cool literature "Earl of Monte Cristo"
According to Deadline, Reggie Jean Pegg (who once starred in Paladin Henk in "Dungeons and Dragons: The Glory of the Rogue") will star in a new "Count of Monte Cristo". The film is written by Parake Ness (written by "The Devil's Summoning" and "The Chaos Walk"), and is produced by Department M. Page and his girlfriend and producer Emily Brown, through his company A Mighty Stranger.
Dummas' original novel "The Earl of Monte Cristo" has been adapted into film and television works many times since its first publication from 1844 to 1846, and has been hailed as the "founder of cool literature" by many fans.
The story is set in the "Hundred Days" period of Napoleon, France in the 19th century, and tells the story of the pharaoh's first lieutenant Edmund Dontes who was framed and imprisoned for being entrusted to deliver letters to the Napoleonians. In prison, he met Father Faria, who taught him knowledge and revealed the secrets of the treasures on Monte Cristo.
Fourteen years later, Dontes successfully escaped from prison and found the treasure, a pseudonym of the Earl of Monte Cristo, embarked on a carefully planned journey of revenge and gratitude.
