Miyazaki Hidetoshi NS2's new work "The Duskbloods" is a multiplayer PvPvE game
At the Nintendo Switch 2 face-to-face meeting, FromSoftware's new work "The Duskbloods" was eye-catching. This dark fantasy action game is expected to be exclusively available on the Switch 2 platform in 2026.
The first trailer of the game makes people strongly reminiscent of FS's "Bloodborne Curse", and the world design makes people feel like "Eldon's Ring of Far". And now, FromSoftware provides us with detailed information on the plot and gameplay. Let’s learn about it together.
Different from FromSoftware's previous works, "The Duskbloods" is a PvPvE game centered on online multiplayer battles. Players will control a Blood Oath (The Blood Oath is the characters who were once humans but have now become vampires), and launch a melee battle to fight for the "first blood" as "Human Twilight" is approaching.
At 8 players will compete in a game, fight against the enemy and fight against each other. Blood Oath seems to have unique equipment and abilities, such as a character equipped with a jetpack. The role of the Blood Oath is similar to the "Night Crossing" in "Eldon's Ring of the Ring of the Night: The Landing of the Night".
