GC25: The 2025 Cologne Game Exhibition "Black Country" Demo is a complete demonstration!
SECTOR shared a video with us showing a complete demo of the 2025 Cologne game exhibition "Black Country". This demo comes from an earlier version of the game and therefore does not represent the quality of the final product. Be sure to keep this in mind when watching. OK, let's take a look together!
Black Kingdom is a third-person action-adventure game that seems to be inspired by Metal Gear and The Matrix. As an indie game, it presents amazing graphics. This is another example of the UE5 engine that allows small teams to create amazing games.
A major feature of this game is its "portal". This will make the game process exciting and constantly changing—at least that's what the developers say. Every time you open a door, you can be in a whole new adventure, which makes the game both exciting and a little dangerous. You can also return through the same door to control your exploration direction.
Survival in Black Kingdom depends on how you skillfully use weapons and equipment. Pistols and rifles are suitable for continuous combat, while shotguns are powerful in close range shooting and can kill enemies with one shot. Fusion guns are the most dangerous weapons. It is super powerful, but you have to be extra careful when using it.
Your gadgets can also play a significant role in combat. You can use them to sneak around or create chaos. Just aim at the target, throw it out, and let the gadget work. But you have to be smarter, because this gadget is not effective for every enemy.
In the game, players will have more than 110 cruel killing methods. These ending skills will be adjusted to your environment, whether it is quietly killing enemies from bunkers or ending opponents in battle, the choice is in your hands. In addition, the game also includes multiple boss battles. Each boss has its own unique style and attack mode. So you have to learn and adapt to them. Each boss has different abilities, which will force you to change your strategy. Some bosses won't get you close, while others won't give you the chance to keep your distance.
It is a bit regrettable that "Black Country" has not yet announced the release date, and Motion Blur has not yet announced the PC configuration requirements for the game.
