"inZOI" Early Access Edition abandons D encryption, update in May officially supports Mod
The Korean simulation game "inZOI" is scheduled to be officially released on March 28. Previously, we reported that the game's Early Access version uses D encryption technology, a move that has raised concerns among players about the performance of the game. Now, producer Kim Hyung-joon announced that the Early Access version will remove D encryption to calm players' disappointment.
"inZOI" producer Kim Hyung-jun admitted that they initially introduced D encryption technology to prevent the game from being pirated. However, this is obviously their decision-making mistake, not taking into account the players' expectations and opinions about "inZOI". At the same time, it is also an obvious mistake to fail to explain this situation to the players in advance, and they are deeply sorry for it.
Kim Hyung-jun said: "We know that removing D encryption technology may put the game at risk of being cracked, but it will also make the game more free. We plan to officially support mods in May and expand more areas of the game through continuous updates. The inZOI team respects the creativity of every player. By removing D encryption, we are committed to creating a more open environment for everyone to make free mod creation possible."
Kim Hyung-jun also said that they will do their best to rebuild the trust of players and continue to work hard to develop to provide players with the best gaming experience and create a more open gaming environment.
