Pity! 10 DLCs in "Three Men and One Dog" have been cancelled! Quality far exceeds expectations
"Three Men and One Dog" is one of the best-selling works in the history of the game, but it has never been able to release a plot DLC like the previous work "GTA4". Recently, the well-known game blogger @SynthPotato sorted out 10 DLC contents that were developed but were eventually cancelled based on leaked information and game files, including 5 plot DLCs. Foreign media Playground has sorted out this in detail.
Agent Trevor: The DLC has the highest completion rate. The original plan is to tell the story of Trevor being employed by the IAA to fight Clifford of artificial intelligence. The content includes 38 main missions, new weapons (cross and harpoon guns), casino gameplay and a complete robbery. The development team once said that its scale is comparable to the plot DLC of "GTA4".
Zombie Apocalypse: Use parallel universe settings to depict the world where zombie crisis broke out in Los Santo. Players can operate Mike, Amanda and Jimmy, and the game environment will present a doomsday style, including roadblocks, ruins and survival mechanisms, with a total of 18 tasks planned.
Alien Invasion: Set as a large-scale science fiction theme, it may be the follow-up plot of the Zombie DLC, but there are few specific details.
Prologue (North Yankton): Expand the game's opening plot, focusing on the past of North Yankton when Mike, Trevor and Brad were young.
Liberty City V: A technical plan aimed at porting Liberty City to this engine. Whether it includes a new plot is unclear.
In addition, other cancelled contents include:
Assassination Pack: Franklin's 12 assassination missions, and some of the contents were integrated into the "Agent Trevor" project.
Flying School Package: Single-player mode flight training and new models (only implemented in online mode).
Love system package: may introduce dating gameplay.
Survival Pack: Inspired by the skin system of "Manhunt".
High-definition material package: PC version exclusive image quality upgrade.
@SynthPotato pointed out that the mysterious graffiti of Mount Chiliyed in the game has long suggested these contents, such as the UFO icon corresponding to alien DLC, the Easter egg symbolizes zombie theme, and the jet backpack refers to agent Trevor. However, these single-player DLC projects were eventually put on hold due to the commercial success of GTA Online and R Star’s continued investment in Red Dead Online.
