Microsoft actually pushed the Xbox 360 update yesterday! Fans are quite pleased
Xbox fans found that the Xbox 360 console recently received a new update containing dashboard changes. This Xbox 360 update is less than a year after Microsoft shuts down the console market on July 29, 2024.
Outside network user trackwalker found that the Xbox 360's dashboard received an update on June 24, and other players in the United States seemed to have noticed that the update had been pushed to their consoles. This dashboard update seems to fix the screen stretching problem that players encounter when browsing the Xbox 360 user interface.
This problem mainly affects the game thumbnails displayed by users when inserting the game disc into the Xbox 360. While the dashboard update does not seem to bring about other changes, many Xbox 360 players express gratitude that Microsoft still provides some support for the console when the market is no longer accessible.
Some Xbox 360 fans hope that Microsoft will not make any more changes to the console dashboard because they believe the current dashboard is in its best state; others are waiting for updates to push to their console. It seems that the dashboard changes only affect Xbox 360 consoles in the US.
