The new work of Tama Gezi series "Welcome! Tama Keji Happy Town" is released
At the Nintendo Direct press conference today (27th), Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the "Welcome! "Tamakoji Happy Town", this store opening simulation game will be available on the Nintendo Switch platform on June 26.
The game is set in the world of Tamakeji. Players will operate 12 unique stores to meet the needs of different Tamakeji. By improving store evaluation, the store can be expanded and new customers of Tama Keji are attracted.
The story tells that under the order of King Keji, the grand "Tama Keji Celebration" will be held on the planet of Tama Keji. Many towns rush to apply to become the venues for celebrations, among which "Yayan Town", where Prince Yuyan lives, also participated in the election. Players will play the role of being appointed as the chairman of the "Development Committee" by Prince Yuyan, and together with the reliable Tamakoji who serves as vice chairman, make Yuyan Town full of vitality.
The game contains 12 specialty stores, such as the "glasses row" that tailors glasses for customers, the "afternoon tea shop" that place items according to the picture, and the production of a crepe cake shop that meets the customer's requirements. As the store level increases, more Tama Kui will be attracted to visit, and the requirements will become higher and higher.
Some stores support offline two-person games through Joy-Con. The classic store "Dentist Clinic" series also adds exclusive content for two-player mode in this game, where players can cooperate with family and friends to treat customers' tooth decay.
On the stage of "Yayan Town", various Tama Keji with distinct personalities will come to play. Players can enjoy small interactions with these cute characters while running the store.
The game also supports linkage with the latest electronic pet toy "Tamagotchi Uni". Through the combination of toys and games, players can obtain limited props and experience special performances.
"Welcome! Tamakoji Happy Town" will be officially released on June 26 and will be available on the Nintendo Switch platform.
