The global box office of Paramount Pictures’ “Sonic the Hedgehog” series has exceeded US$1 billion!
A "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie was released in February 2020, and together with a sequel in 2022, it grossed $725.2 million at the global box office. "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" was released on December 20, 2024, with global box office revenue reaching US$312 million.
Shortly after the release of the third "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie, Paramount Pictures confirmed that "Sonic the Hedgehog 4" is in preparation and is expected to be released in 2027.
