CDPR increases job recruitment efforts! Cyberpunk 2 may have multiplayer mode

　　CDPR is currently recruiting multiple positions for Cyberpunk 2 and Wizard Sirius projects in North America, mainly including chief producer, animation and technical positions.

According to foreign media TheGamer, "Cyberpunk 2" may plan to join the online mode. According to the latest recruitment information, CD Projekt Red is recruiting a chief network engineer for the work.

　　The job description shows that the position must be responsible for "designing and implementing network architectures and online systems" and ensuring that players have a "low-latency, high-performance online experience." The relevant requirements clearly point to the development of multiplayer game functions.

Previously, "Cyberpunk 2077" also planned to launch an online mode, but it was postponed many times after its release and was eventually cancelled. This adjustment was reasonable at the time, because the single player part of the game needed a lot of updates and repairs to achieve an acceptable state.

　　Now, CDPR has learned from previous experience and is expected to more effectively coordinate the production of single-player content and online modes during the development of "Cyberpunk 2" to improve the overall quality of the project. However, the specific form of online functions is still not yet clear.
