"Hao: Infinite" major update on August 5: Classic vehicles return to the battlefield
In the "Shadow Operation" update that will be launched on August 5, "Hao: Infinity" will usher in a number of major content. Developer Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries) disclosed through its official blog that the classic vehicle "Falcon" helicopter, which has been away for many years since the debut of "Hao: The Falcon", will return to the battlefield, and the vehicle will be adapted to multiple existing large-scale team battle maps. At the same time, the newly added "Relic Carbine" will bring tactical changes to the new asymmetric mode "Exiled Killer".
This update also includes ten customizable weapons to join the workshop system, including classic equipment such as plasma pistols, gravity hammers and stalker rifles. The game mode has also been optimized: players can freely switch the first/third person perspective in the "Bullet Rain" mode; the "Search and Blast" mode inspired by "Counter-Strike" has undergone a number of experience improvements.
As part of the ongoing operation, the game will simultaneously launch the "Shadow Operation" combat pass with level 20 rewards. The official also previewed the follow-up update plan: the "War Road" operation will be launched on September 9 and the Halloween-themed event will be launched on October 7. It is worth noting that this is the first major update after the developer's name change, marking that the game has completely escaped the dilemma of lack of content when it was first released in 2021.
Although the official has not confirmed it yet, it is widely rumored in the industry that Halo Studios is developing a remake of "Hao: Fighting Evolution". As Halo: Infinity is gradually improving through four years of updates, this legendary IP is ushering in a new development cycle. The return of the "Falcon" vehicle will undoubtedly evoke the collective memory of old players in the series.
