No play exclusive! "Haizhang Ark: Ancient Circle" dlc will be released simultaneously on multiple platforms

　　At the recent 2025 Xbox Game Showcase, MachineGames brought a surprise - the highly anticipated "Order of the Giants", the first story expansion package of the highly anticipated "Raiders of the Lost Ark: Ancient Circle", was officially announced, and it is confirmed that it will be launched simultaneously on Xbox, Windows and PlayStation platforms on September 4.

　　"Raiders of the Lost Ark: Ancient Circle" was produced by MachineGames Studio, which once developed the "Wolfenstein Headquarters" series, and was first released on Xbox and Windows platforms in December 2024. The game has been explicitly committed to faithfully restore the experience of "Raiders of Lost Ark" since its release, including Troy Baker's wonderful imitation of Harrison Ford, as well as fascinating combat and exploration mechanics.

　However, although the basic game has been well received, its staggered launch time on different platforms has caused confusion and controversy among many players.

Previously, MachineGames was acquired by Microsoft along with ZeniMax. It was initially reported that "Raiders of the Lost Ark: Ancient Circle" will be released as an exclusive game for Xbox and Windows. But then Microsoft quickly announced that the PlayStation version will eventually be launched and will be launched on Sony consoles in April 2025. Xbox said that this move is to improve the ease of play and maximize the coverage of Microsoft's games, but this phased release model has indeed led to the dispersion of the overall reputation and discussion of the game.
