"Marvel Contest" Players Discover AI Disguised Live Person: Limited to Practice Mode
NetEase Games' superhero shooting game "Marvel Confrontation" has recently caused heated discussions among players due to AI behavior in the fast battle mode. As the 3.5 season "Blade Warrior" update approaches, many players have released video evidence on the Reddit forum, showing that robots in quick battles have begun to imitate real-life operations - including using sprayed expressions, interacting with teammates at the beginning, sending battlefield marks, and other behaviors, and their tactical performance has also improved significantly.
This anthropomorphic improvement seems to be a double-edged sword. Some players believe this can improve the matching experience, especially when new players are influx; but more users criticized this move for violating the original intention of quickly fighting "live competition" and suggested limiting AI to a special "practice mode". It is worth noting that NetEase has previously implemented a number of unannounced adjustments, such as the small trumpet monitoring system introduced in the third season, and violators will face a qualifying ban.
As the hero pool continues to expand (there are currently 24 characters), the player community has begun to call for improvement of the character selection interface, especially the cumbersome operation on the host side. Despite these minor controversies, the community remains optimistic about the 3.5 season - the update will bring new content such as balance adjustments and rumored "Female Loki" skins.
