According to "Deadline", one of the most famous horror IPs in the past 50 years is about to usher in a modern style reboot - the semi-real incident adaptation of "The God of Screams" will launch a new version of the movie, jointly produced by BoulderLight Studio, which once created the hit horror film "Barrier", and Dive/Conquer, which launched the "Slaying Slayer" this year.

This new film is titled "The Ghosts and Howls", and will be co-written and directed by couple directors Joseph Winter and Vanessa Winter. They have previously made their mark in the film industry with the pseudo-documentary horror film "Die Live".

"The Howling of the Ghosts" was originally recorded in text, telling the paranormal phenomenon that occurred in a house in Defea, Long Island, New York. These events revolve around the real case of most members of the Defeare family being killed by Ronald Defeare Jr., who claimed that he committed the murder while possessed by evil spirits.

Although horror film remakes have become their own style, the charm of this genre lies in the ability to reinterpret the classic framework with modern horror aesthetics. It is revealed that the new version of "The Ghost Crying and Howling" is being developed rapidly and is expected to start before the end of 2025.
