PS5's sales in the same period were significantly ahead of XSS/X consoles: the gap exceeded 36 million units!

According to the latest data from VGChartz, global sales of PlayStation 5 have reached 67.7 million units after 49 months on the market (as of November 2024), while Xbox Series Series X|S is about 117%.

PS5 The sales volume during the same period was very good, but it has not yet exceeded the total lifetime sales of PlayStation 3 (87.4 million units). The sales volume of Xbox Series X|S is lower than that of Xbox One in both the same period and total lifetime sales.

　PS3 With total lifetime sales of 87.4 million units, the PS5 currently lags behind the PS3 by about 19.7 million units. The total lifetime sales of Xbox Series X|S are 31.21 million units, which is 26.75 million units less than the total sales of Xbox One of 57.96 million units.
