Someone really did it! Players use treadmills to cross the Red Dead 2 map
Since its release in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 has won wide praise for its highly restored open world, delicate environmental details and immersive narrative experience. Even though seven years have passed, a large number of players are still returning to the game world to explore.
Recently, Reddit user ShakeMisttake shared a unique gaming experience. He manipulated the protagonist Arthur Morgan on foot through almost the entire game map through a pedometer, a mini treadmill and an action mapping app. This process was broadcast live through the Twitch platform and was not interrupted during this period.
According to ShakeMisttake, the journey from Annisburg to Tumbleweed Town took about three hours, and the total number of steps recorded by the pedometer reached 16,000.
This is an open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. In the game, players can freely explore the vast map and participate in main tasks, side tasks and various random events. The game also integrates various gameplays such as hunting, fishing, and duels, and focuses on the impact of character moral choices on the development of the plot.
