Eidos Montreal is selling a new game called "Battle Out"

"Breaking Out of the Siege" is one of many game IPs that have been in a stagnant state in the past few years. However, despite lack of interest from its former parent company Square Enix and its current boss Embracer has also canceled a sequel from two years ago, Eidos Montreal Studios is still trying to revive the immersive simulation game.

After the studio's recent layoffs, sources revealed to Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson that Eidos Montreal Studio is actively promoting a new "Breaking Out" game to "external partners and publishers." Unfortunately, some companies allegedly thought the game was “too niche”, while others believed the financial risks of the project were not worth their risk.

Interestingly, some people think that this concept is "charming and novel" but does not meet the "expectations or standards that are usually related to the "Breaking Out" brand".

"Breaking Out of the Siege: Human Segment" is the last work in the series, and this work was released in 2016. The story revolves around Adam Jensen's continued investigation into "the Illuminati". Despite its positive reviews, many criticized its pending ending.
