"Dragon Quest 7 Remake" producer interview: Will delete and modify boring side lines
Recently, SE official interviewed Ichikawa Tsuke, the producer of "Dragon Quest VII Eden no Senshitachi", which is also the first public interview of the game since the Nintendo press conference. In the interview, Ichikawa revealed that the remake will optimize the game content on the basis of retaining the original core experience and eliminate those redundant and boring side tasks.
The original version of "Dragon Quest 7" was criticized by players for its slow plot and chaotic rhythm. In response to the reporter's question, Ichikawa solemnly promised: "In order to make the story process more compact and smooth, and to provide players with more attractive guidance, we decided to cut off those subplots that are extremely low-related to the main line."

Ichikawa said that although some of the content was deleted, the production team also carefully designed new links and scenes to enrich the players' gaming experience.
