Entering reality! PS launches Hokkaido Holy Land Tour

Oct 01 2025

Recently, the PlayStation official blog announced that it would cooperate with Klook, a well-known travel platform in the Asia-Pacific region, to launch the "Ghost of Yōtei" theme travel activity for Southeast Asian players. The event will be booked on the Klook platform from September 30, and the journey will be officially launched on November 3.

This theme tour will lead players to visit the four major real-life prototypes in the game:

  Noyama Ida Time Village

This historical village, which recreates the style of the Edo period, provides players with the opportunity to experience Japanese archery, dart throwing and samurai costumes. Visitors can also visit the Samurai Museum, restored historical celebrity residences, and climb the fire watchtower to experience the life atmosphere of the Edo era in all aspects.

  Noybeyed Hell Valley

This volcanic landscape, known for its steam vents and steep cliffs, directly inspired the foggy fortress and ghost domain scenes in the game. The local legends of evil ghosts and many ghost images also provide creative inspiration for the game's mythological background and overall atmosphere.

Lake Toya

Lake Toya, famous for its quiet lake water, hot spring culture and Yangti Mountain background, corresponds to the calm hot spring scene in the game. Visitors can relax here, enjoy the hot springs, and enjoy the natural beauty of this enlightening game design.

  Yangti Mountain

As a source of game naming and a symbol of Hokkaido, Yamti Mountain (called "Female Mountain" by the Ainu people) frequently appears in the game landscape. Visitors can enjoy this mountain range that is both the story background and the visual core from different angles such as Zhongshan Road and Huqiu Farm.
