Domestic TV market experiences a tide of size iteration: the dominance of large screens above 75 inches is highlighted
AVC's latest online monitoring data shows that the domestic TV market is experiencing a significant "size iteration wave". As of July 16, the online retail market showed three major characteristics that month:
Double increase in volume and price: the retail sales scale expanded by 11.6% year-on-year, and the average product price reached 3,582 yuan, achieving a moderate increase of 2.3%.
The dominance of large screens is highlighted: the proportion of retail sales of models above 75 inches (excluding 75 inches) jumped to 37.5%, a significant increase of 5.8 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, ultra-large screen products such as 85/98/100 inches have made a collective breakthrough, and their retail sales contribution far exceeds the level in 2023.
The differentiation of small and medium-sized screens has intensified: traditional mainstream sizes have been squeezed, with the proportion of 55-inches falling from 11.2% to 9.4%, and the 65-inches also shrunk by 2.3 percentage points to 15.4%. However, 32/43-inch maintains its presence with the subdivided needs such as rental scenes and bedroom sub-screens, and is still competitive in non-core movie viewing scenes.
It is worth noting that the contribution rate of high-end models above 5,500 yuan has exceeded 40%, confirming consumers' dual upgrade demands of "large screen + high quality". Picture quality performance and intelligent interaction functions have become key purchasing decision factors. This trend reflects the in-depth transformation of family entertainment scenarios to immersive experiences.
