Sep 25 2025

The animated film "Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe" announced today that it will adjust its release date in North America, from the original June 25, 2027 to June 18, to meet the audience on Father's Day weekend, and will be released on the same day as Pixar's new work "GATTO".

The plot of the film will follow the end of "Spider-Man: Universe", telling the story of the confrontation between two Myers, the strong pursuit of Spider-Man 2099, and the Spider-Man team gathering to deal with the crisis. The film is co-directed by Bob Persey Katie and Justin K. Thompson, who have been involved in the series, and the two said they have "created a very satisfying ending" for the trilogy.

Actor Brian Tyree Henry, who dubbed Miles' father Jefferson Davis, had previously revealed that the style of the film will be more emotionally impactful, and the ending may not be warm and beautiful, suggesting that it may be full of touching plot twists.
