"Civilization 7" was released in February this year. Although it attracted many players, its reviews were polarized. Recently, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnik said in an interview with Games Industry.biz that he was not worried and believed that the game's future prospects were bright.

Although the evaluation of "Civilization 7" is not bad, its performance is inferior compared to other works in the series. Currently on OpenCritic, the game has an average rating of 79 points and a recommendation rate of 77%. The feedback from players is even more negative. Among the 31,000 user reviews, Steam only said "common praise and criticism".

Although this game will not become the highest-rated work in the "Civilization" series, Take-Two senior management has no major objection to its performance. Zelnik admitted: "When the game was first released, we did encounter some challenges."

However, he insisted that Take-Two was generally satisfied with the game, and said that based on past experience, the mixed reviews of "Civilization 7" are normal and are not a problem that requires large-scale correction. "Every time I launch a new work in the Civilization series, there are always some loyal fans who are dissatisfied with the new work because they are obsessed with the previous work."
