Starbreeze new CEO! Former EA executive Adolf Christyson takes office
Adolf Kristjansson has been officially appointed as Starbreeze's new CEO, and he will officially take office on April 1. Kristjansson will take over the role of current interim CEO Mats Juhl, while Juhl will return to the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Kristjansson has been deeply engaged in the gaming industry for more than 20 years and has been deeply involved in the development of well-known IPs such as "FIFA", "Battlefield", "Apex Heroes" and "Star Wars". In addition, he has held several executive positions at EA, covering important positions such as senior director of international business and global digital director.
