Early, foreign media The Verge posted a post saying that Sony is developing AI-powered PlayStation game characters and shared a 1-minute demonstration, showing Aloy, an AI-based character in the game "Horizon: Zero Dawn".

At a recent report by foreign media Gamesradar, Eloy actor Ashly Burch responded to the matter: "They did not use any of my facial or voice data in the demonstration, but I am still worried that this art form may affect the interests of game actors."

Ashly Burch is currently participating in the American Actors’ Union-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes against the video game industry, aiming to better protect actors’ performance results and prevent unauthorized AI from generating content. "What we strive for is that before we make an AI version of the cast in any form, we must go through our consent. You must tell us how we will use this AI stand-in and compensate us fairly."
