The live-action movie "Death Stranding" begins! Directed by "Silent Land 2"

　　The movie version of Hideo Kojima's masterpiece "Death Stranding" is confirmed to be directed and written by Michael Sarnoski, director of "Silent Land: Invasion Day" and "Pig Killing Order". According to foreign media Deadline, Sanoski is currently working on the post-production of "Death of Robin Hood" and is working with A24 to prepare for the "Death Stranding" movie project.

　　When the movie plan was announced at the end of 2023, Hideo Kojima expressed his high trust in A24. He said he had received many invitations to high-budget movies, but believed that only A24 could perfectly present the unique style he wanted. Kojima emphasized that this movie will not be a game adaptation, but a new creation for non-game audiences, and will show content that can only be expressed by the movie.
