It is revealed that the price of RTX 5080 is about to soar! At least 60% higher than the original price

Since the release of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, the inventory and price of graphics cards have always been worrying, and the official suggested retail price (MSRP) of the RTX 50 series graphics cards has long lost its practical significance. Today, things may worsen further, with the RTX 5080 price expected to be 60% higher than the MSRP ($999 MSRP).

According to the latest revelations from "Moore's Law Is Dead", a "main" AIB source revealed that the RTX 5080 they currently offer to dealers has exceeded $1,400, and retailers are willing to buy it at such a high price because AIB warned them that "the situation may be worse."

The source also said that the price of RTX 5080 is expected to remain above 35% of the MSRP, and if the US Article 301 tariffs come into effect, the increase may reach 60%. The AIB further explained that the US Article 301 tariff exemption they currently enjoy will expire in June. If the exemption expires and the tariffs are implemented, the price of the RTX 5080 will rise sharply.

To sum up, the price of RTX 50 series graphics cards is less likely to fall in the short term, and it is difficult for dealers to purchase graphics cards at reasonable prices. In this case, players can only choose to wait for the price to fall, or pay a higher price to buy the graphics card.
