Bloomberg calls Switch2 or Nintendo's most expensive hardware! Price may exceed 2,895 yuan
Recently, a report released by Bloomberg pointed out that the Nintendo Switch 2 may become "Nintendo's most expensive device to date." An analyst close to the company and its software and hardware partnerships predicts the Switch2 could sell for $400 (about RMB 2,895) or more.
UBS Group analyst Yijia Zhai said that the Switch 2 is expected to be listed in June, with market supply reaching 6 million to 8 million units. In comparison, Nintendo's first-generation Switch sold 2.7 million units in the month of its debut, while the two PlayStations sold 4.5 million units in the first quarter.
Magic Capital analyst Hiroshi Yamashina predicts that the Switch 2 will be priced between $399 and $449, and the product is expected to sell for 20 million units in its first year of launch.
