The iPhone 17 launch conference time is revealed: maybe between September 8 and September 12!
Recently, a whistleblower, Mark Gurman, revealed that Apple is most likely to hold an iPhone 17 series launch conference in the second week of September. He noted that Apple's iPhone launch events over the years are usually scheduled for the next week after Labor Day in the United States, and Labor Day in 2025 is scheduled for Monday, September 1. Therefore, the target time range for the press conference is roughly between September 8 (Monday) and September 12 (Friday).
Apple has always avoided holding major press conferences on Friday, so it can be ruled out on September 12 (Friday). At the same time, since Apple generally does not arrange events on September 11, this date is also excluded. The remaining possibilities are mainly concentrated on September 8 (Monday), September 9 (Tuesday) and September 10 (Wednesday). Mark Gurman believes that September 9 (Tuesday) or September 10 (Wednesday) is most likely to be the date of the press conference.
Looking back on previous years, of the last ten release events, five were held on Tuesday, three were held on Wednesday, and only one (2024) was held on Monday. Judging from the calendar, Monday may also be the launch date, but the possibility is relatively low.
It is reported that this year, Apple plans to release four new models, namely iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. It is expected to launch Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3.
