Super Earth Truth Ministry: 30% of citizens oppose the expansion of soldiers. This is disloyal!
Arrowhead Studios recently announced that "Jedi 2" released by Sony Interactive Entertainment will be available on the Xbox Series X|S platform on August 26, 2025. Microsoft Store is currently open for pre-orders for Standard Edition and "Super Citizen Edition", which contains a wealth of in-game props and extra content.
It is particularly worth noting that this transplant is under the responsibility of Nixxes Software. The game will support 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, 60 frames or above pictures, spatial sound effects, Dolby Atmos, and keyboard and mouse operations, and retain cross-platform online functions.
This news has sparked heated discussion among the player group. A voting survey conducted by foreign media PushSquare showed that 44% of players believe this is a "win-win" good thing, which can allow more people to join the game world; 30% of players are worried that this will dilute Sony's brand value; another 26% of players say it doesn't matter.
GameRant analysis pointed out that although there are indeed several PlayStation-released games on the Xbox platform in recent years, these cases have special backgrounds. For example, "MLB The Show 21" is due to its partnership with the MLB Alliance; "Death Stranding: Director's Editing Edition" is due to the re-acquisition of IP rights by Hideo Kojima's team; and Bungie's "Marathon" was planned to be released on multiple platforms before it was acquired by Sony.
These cases show that PlayStation-based games will log on to competitor platforms earlier only if Sony has limited control over IP or there is a special agreement.
