"Fallen Atom" recouped its cost as soon as it was released! Developers plan development sequel
"Fallen Atom" has achieved many remarkable results since its release, with the number of players exceeding 1.5 million in the first week and 2 million in the first month. Recently, developer Rebellion said in an interview with The Game Business that the development cost was successfully recovered as soon as the game was released, although the game had been added to XGP when it was first released.
Rebellion revealed that the studio is currently discussing plans to develop sequels or derivative works, and will continue to provide post-release support and DLC content for "Fallen Atoms".
Rebellion boss Jason Kingsley mentioned in a previous interview that XGP has brought great help to "Fallen Atoms", because no matter the game sales volume, Microsoft will ensure that it provides "stable revenue", effectively reducing risks.
"Atomic Fall" is an action survival game inspired by real events, and the story is set five years after the Vincen Nuclear Disaster in northern England. Explore fictional quarantines and display your scavengers, crafting, trading, fighting and communication skills in a country full of weird characters, cults and out-of-control government agencies.
