Resident Evil 9 is revealed to be set in 2028! 30 years after the Raccoon City incident
At this week's Cologne Game Exhibition, Capcom released a new trailer for "Resident Evil 9", and then showed a real-life demonstration of this work at the Future Game Exhibition. Recently, the well-known Resident Evil source AestheticGamer once again exposed some new details, revealing that the currently displayed game clips are mainly concentrated in the first 30-45 minutes of content.
AestheticGamer also revealed that the timeline of "Resident Evil 9" is set in 2028, which happens to be thirty years after the Raccoon City incident. This also means that this game will become the first regular numbered Resident Evil game in the series that does not use the approximate release year as the background, marking Capcom's layout for the future of the series after "Resident Evil 9".
In addition, AestheticGamer also mentioned that Lyon will continue to appear as the protagonist in this game, and players will have a lot of space to operate him, and he will play an important role in the plot. However, all information is still subject to Capcom's official statement, and players should take these details rationally.
