IGN Brief review: "Royal 8: Pirates of Hawaii" is definitely a charming trip. Whether on land or on sea, it makes me feel excited.
IGN Overall Comment:
"Royal 8: Pirates of Hawaii" is a pleasant spin-off that seamlessly switches between street violence and fraud. Mashima Goro's "Feedle" posture is the most fun and flexible fighting style I've ever experienced in the series - at least in its classic combo form. I am happy to accept the challenge of carefully placing the crew to survive the numerous surging naval battles. While its open world map feels a bit filled with repetitive island scenes, Honolulu itself is full of unpredictable side quests and comprehensively improved activities that make every rest ashore full of surprises. "Royal 8: Pirates of Hawaii" is definitely full of buried treasures and all kinds of fun. It is an always fascinating journey that makes me feel excited whether it is on land or on sea.
