"Final Fantasy 7" remake trilogy confirmed to be on the entire platform
Square Enix has officially announced that "Final Fantasy 7: Remake" and its subsequent works will break the previous platform limitations and be launched on multiple platforms outside of PlayStation. Game Director Naoki Hamaguchi revealed in an interview that these two games are planned to be available on the Switch2 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
Naki Hamaguchi solemnly assured those players who have fallen into the trap because of "Final Fantasy 7: Remake" that the complete trilogy will eventually achieve full platform coverage. "We have been working hard to make more players experience these wonderful works. At present, we are actively promoting the release of "Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth" and the third work in the series on Xbox, Switch2 and more platforms."
When asked about the reason for the trilogy form, Naoki Hamaguchi said that the content of the original "Final Fantasy 7" is extremely large, and only through the trilogy form can the stories of Claude and his partners be fully presented.
He further explained: The first "FF7RE" mainly focuses on the Midgar chapter, aiming to enable players to establish a preliminary understanding with the protagonist team; the second "FF7 Rebirth" is committed to expanding the game's worldview and deepening the emotional connection between characters; and the third part currently under development will serve as the epic final chapter of the entire series, bringing all the narrative clues together and playing an unforgettable finale.
