Sony Pulse 3D headsets may be discontinued and will be replaced by the more expensive Pulse Elite

According to foreign media playstationlifestyle, Sony may have gradually stopped production of PS5 Pulse 3D wireless headphones, and the Pulse Elite model, which is positioned as a higher-end, may replace its market position in the future.

Recently, consumers have reported that this headset is out of stock on multiple sales platforms. Currently, the PlayStation official mall has shown that the product is sold out in stock. As a representative of the affordable accessories for the PS5, the Pulse 3D is originally priced at $199 (about 60% of the price of the Pulse Elite), and its delisting may enable more players to turn to higher-priced Elite models.

Although Sony has not issued a statement of suspension, according to feedback from global retailers, Pulse 3D's inventory in physical channels has been basically cleared. It should be noted that the product has also been removed from the official flagship store of PlayStation Tmall and JD.com, which further confirms the rumors of production suspension.

Analysts pointed out that this move may be related to Sony's optimization of product line layout. Pulse Elite will become the new generation of main products with its enhanced 3D sound performance and battery life.

Of course, this adjustment has also caused dissatisfaction among some netizens. A large number of discussion posts appeared on social platforms such as Reddit. Some users questioned the quality control of the Elite model, and some players expressed regret for not being able to purchase Pulse 3D.
