Recently, Keisuke Okabe, director of "Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist", and Yasuhiro Yokoyama, chief designer, talked about the inspiration for this work in an interview with foreign media AUTOMATON.

In the interview, Keisuke expressed his love for Vanilla Society's works. Vanilla Society is famous for "Masato Yoshimura", "Odin Field", and "Thirteen Rail Defence Circle". These games inspired the "End" series.

Keisuke particularly emphasized that the 2D art style of "Odin Field" is the core of the attractiveness of the "End of Day" series, and he even tried to join the vanilla club in college. However, game development is not easy, it is not something that can be made casually. Keisuke admitted: "When we realized that Vanilla Club might not launch a new work, we decided to create our own classics."

In January this year, the developer announced that the global cumulative sales of the two games, "Lily in the End of the Knight" and "Magnolia in the End of the Fog" have exceeded 2 million sets. The official said that he will continue to work hard in the future to bring better works to players.
