New trailer for "New VR Warrior Project": Showcases the character's fighting and training stage
Rulong Studio is developing the next work of "VR Warrior", which released a new video showing some trial images of the game. Judging from the trailer, this fighting game is currently temporarily called "New VR Warrior Project", and the game seems to have a considerable training area, and in line with the tradition of the series, its 1-on-1 battle will focus on martial arts. OK, let's take a look at the trailer together!

This one-minute video shows us a wonderful showdown between two characters in the game, and we see some combos that both sides can perform. In the video, we can also see some details of this upcoming fighting game, such as extremely accurate judgment range, where one character can get up by backflip when falling to the ground to avoid the opponent's sweeping leg low kick, and the other character can also avoid the attack sideways at the right time.
The New VR Warrior Project also seems to have an impressive battle ending animation, where the final blow will hit the opponent's face in slow motion and even hit a tooth out. In addition, due to the meticulous animation effect when blocking attacks at the right time, the game also provides a lot of full reactivity.
The visual style of the game also seems to tend to a more minimalist appearance. Although the game undoubtedly has blood bars, timers and other HUD elements, the game screen displayed in the video also shows that Rulong Studio deliberately avoids the use of particle effects as a lot of "Iron Fist". Instead, all the hits and grappling moves are shown quite clearly, and the focus of the game seems to be on the pure martial arts abilities of the two fighters.
The "New VR Warrior Plan" has not yet been released for release date. However, the game studio has confirmed that more details about the game will be announced at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2025.
This game made its debut as early as December 2024. Although we did not see any actual game scenes at that time, the trailer for the fighting game announced that the pre-rendered movie-level pictures allowed us to appreciate its exquisite visual effects. And a trailer released in January this year gave us more knowledge about this game. As early as May, Rulong Studio confirmed that "Wolf Hawkfield" will return in the role lineup of "New VR Warrior Project". Wolf Hawkfield has been a regular in the VR Warrior series since its debut in 1993.
