Recently, Zach Craig, the screenwriter and director of the rebooted version of the Resident Evil movie, revealed in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that the new movie has nothing to do with any previous Resident Evil movies, and the plot will be full of unpredictability.

He said: "This is an original script, very weird. I wrote it myself, and I like this story very much. It has nothing to do with the existing Resident Evil movie. If I do it well, it will give the audience a fresh, edgy and weird feeling."

In July, he further emphasized: "I want to tell a story that allows the audience to experience the real thing like playing a game. I don't think I have broken any rules, but I understand that no matter how I do it, there will always be people who will pick on the Internet."

At present, the official has not confirmed more details yet. However, the well-known whistleblower Daniel RPK disclosed a suspected plot summary in July (its credibility remains to be verified):

The male protagonist Brian is a "spoken organ transporter" played by Austin Abrams. He received a late-night delivery task to send the organs to Raccoon City General Hospital. During the transportation, Brian accidentally bumped into a mysterious woman while passing through a snow-capped highway. Although the woman survived, it was obvious that something was wrong. Brian tried to save her, but gradually became involved in a full-blown terror incident filled with nightmares of mutated tentacles and biological weapons.
