Two media have already scored "Silk Song": 9 points and 10 points!
"The Hollow Knight: The Song of Silk" was officially released on the Steam platform recently, with players' peak quickly exceeding 500,000, setting another record for independent games. However, the work is currently evaluated as "mostly bad" in the national region, and the main problems are concentrated in the translation quality and difficulty curve.
At present, two media have scored it, giving it 9 points and 10 points respectively.
Noisypixel (9/10):
"The Hollow Knight: Song of Silk" brings a carefully crafted Galaxy-like Castlevania experience, which further improves the successful formula of the previous work through higher speed battles, expressive narratives and cruel and worthwhile explorations - although some of the side contents slightly dragged down the pace of the game, the overall experience of the game is still excellent.
Pros:
Extremely challenging and fair combat system
unique mobile mechanism
Custom heraldry system
Elaborate exploration experience
Nintendo game strategy
Disadvantages:
Side missions
Money system imbalance
CGMagazine (10/10)
"The Hollow Knight: Song of Silk" is definitely worth the wait for these eight years. While retaining many excellent features of the previous work, this game has achieved innovation and sublimation in a novel way. Even if you have never played the first generation of works, this game is worth experiencing.
The game perfectly inherited the previous work's exemplary design and took it to a new level, setting a new benchmark for the Galaxy-like Castlevania game.
