Sony confirms not to participate in the 2025 Cologne Game Show! Have been absent for six consecutive years

　　According to German media Games Wirtschaft, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed that it will miss the Cologne Games Exhibition for the sixth consecutive year (2019 to present). A spokesperson for its German branch said: "There is currently no plan to appear at the Cologne 2025 as an exhibitor, but new content will be launched later this year."

Although Sony did not disclose the reason for its absence, it is worth noting that its first-party new work "Soul of Sheep Hoof Mountain" will be released on October 2. The work may become the main force during the Christmas season, and will simultaneously launch a limited edition PS5 console and controller. Games Wirtschaft joked that at least these hardware will not be absent from Cologne - manufacturers such as Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will use PS5 to display new games.
