The script of "Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" exceeds 2.2 million words! Break the record of "Border 3"!
According to Guinness World Records, the current record holder for the longest script is "Baldur's Gate 3", whose script is said to be "more than 2 million words in length."
However, Daniel Vávra, the director of "Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2", posted on the X platform that he believed his game broke this record.

Wafra was replying to the YouTube blogger Comments made during a post by ESO_Danny. ESO_Danny posted a photo of himself with the script for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 . In the post, ESO_Danny said the script is 1.7 million words long, compared to the first game's 800,000-word script.
Subsequently, the official account of Warhorse Studios corrected: "In fact, the script of "Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" exceeds 2.2 million words, Danny."
Vafra then retweeted the post, adding: "As far as I know, this is the longest script ever written in (any) game, including Baldur's Gate 3 "."
Wavra's claims cannot be confirmed until the game is released and the script is verified. This means that, for now, Guinness officially still recognizes Baldur's Gate 3 as the game with the longest script.

In "Baldur's Gate 3" there are 1888 voiced characters with 174 hours of cutscenes. The script is lengthy due to the game's commitment to giving players a large number of possible choices (which means numerous scenarios must be considered), plus the ability to talk to animals.
"Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" is an open-world action role-playing game set during a civil war in 15th-century Bohemia. The game will be released on February 4th. The plan was a week in advance.
