Independent game developer Poncle announced that the critically acclaimed meat pigeon shooting game "Vampire Survivor" will implement online cooperation mode and other new features for the first time in the 1.14 update. This popular game in 2022 may receive the largest update in history. Players can pay attention to the details announced in the next few weeks.
By developer Luca Galante "Vampire Survivor" independently created by Galante, quickly became popular around the world in 2022. The work has gradually landed on consoles and mobile terminals from the PC platform. It currently scores an average of 88 points on the OpenCritic rating website. The development team continues to optimize game content, launching the "Among Us" linkage expansion pack in 2023, and the popular "Castlevania" DLC in October 2024. In early 2025, Poncle promised a larger free update, and earlier this year it finally added cross-platform archiving functionality.
The latest trailer shows that version 1.14 will support online cooperation mode for up to four people. Although the full content of the update has not yet been determined, officials have announced that it will include four important new features. With the continued success of "Vampire Survivor", Poncle announced the establishment of a publishing department in the fall of 2024 to focus on supporting small creative projects.
