"Microsoft Flight Simulation 2024" TGS Promotional Video World Region Update: Japan
At today's TGS 2025 live broadcast event, Xbox released a promotional video for "Microsoft Flight Simulation 2024" "Japan Update" to introduce players to the world regional update content - Japan.
"Microsoft Flight Simulation 2024" World Update 20: Japan
Microsoft has cooperated with Bing Maps, Gaya and Asobo to create "World Update 20", which is one of the largest world updates to date.
This update contains 23 areas of interest, and uses updated photogrammetry technology and TIN (irregular triangle mesh) surface texture technology to reproduce it with vivid details.
The areas where new photogrammetry cities are added include Hiroshima (1 interest area), Kyoto (1 interest area), Osaka (3 interest areas), Sapporo (2 interest areas) and Tokyo (16 interest areas).
This update also contains 67 points of interest, including: Osaka Castle, one of the most important historical sites in Japan; Akita Bridge, a beautiful suspension bridge across the Seto Inland Sea; an important observatory, Shiyama Observatory; a unique lighthouse and viewing tower Enoshima Sea Candle; and the highest coastal Tafukuoka Tower in Japan.
In addition, the world update of "Microsoft Flight Simulation 2024" also includes the low-altitude challenge of Tsushima Island and the rally challenge of Seto Inland Sea National Park.
