Recently, the information website icy-veins reported that players exposed a screenshot of an internal document from Square Enix, which revealed the "Ideal World Shortlist" of "Kingdom Hearts 4" proposed in an early meeting.
According to the screenshot, foreign media and netizens speculated that many popular Disney and Pixar IP worlds were included in the candidates, including "The Invincible Destruction King", "The Princess and the Frog", "The Mind Team", "Dream Search" and "Superman Mobilization".
Sources said that Disney has extremely high requirements for quality standards, so the world that was selected may be different. In the initial meeting, the SE team proposed a list of world-intentions, and Disney gave a "preliminary license" based on whether the script design meets its standards. Subsequently, the final selection of the world will depend on further discussion, so there are multiple worlds on the list marked "tentative" (制).
In addition, the document also lists the worlds that have entered the discussion but were eventually deprecated. These worlds were originally planned to be included in the game, but were put on hold due to the "temporary cancellation" of the project. The development team is currently working to redeem these produced resources and plans to use them for future series, people familiar with the matter said.
It is worth mentioning that people familiar with the matter also revealed that "King of Kingdoms 4" will include elements such as keyblades or unconscious in "Missing Link", further expanding the game's worldview.
